CD: FOR SITTING

Meant as it’s name says for people that work sitting down (no matter of the age). They don’t take up much time. 13 Exercises, each is about 40 sec. long. You don’t need any special equipment, and all you need is 8 minutes of your time and some good will. After that you will fill less stiff, more nimble a cheerful. Exercise them 1-2 time a day and that is that.

DVD: FOR STRECHING

The new DVD from the workshop of Tonći Šitić, who this time shows us exercises for stretching. It is useful for those who are already attending therapy and are somehow involved in the rehabilitation process. It is also important for people that involved in sports to prevent injuries.

DVD: FOR SPINE

This DVD “Exercises for spine – medical gymnastic in 23 steps” continues where the last CD left off, it shows 23 carefully selected exercises, where the user can identify himself while doing them, they don’t need any special equipment or clothes, they can be done almost anywhere from you home to the gym, which is extremely important and is only product of it’s kind which is recommended by Croatian Society of Physiotherapists.

This is the logical continuation of the “Exercises for spine” DVD which was greatly adopted. Most of the questions were how to exercise the legs correctly, how to have an reminder after learning the exercises, and which exercises to do for which leg problems.

BUG, September, 2004.

Behind the title "Exercises for office athletes" from the point of g. Drago Galić view, a critic was given according to software solutions and effectivness of exercises for the PC users. The whole text can be found in Bug, nr.142, September, 2004.

For office athletes

In an unexplainable way, BUG received a CD "Exercises in sitting position" and below that with smaller letters "Medical gymnastics in 13 steps". The author of CD is physiotherapist Tonći Šitić, who obviously got used the the state of mind of his clients, and gave up of efforts to get them up from their chairs. Instead, to diminish the damage, he at least tries to tell us to strech on that same chair with wich we are symbiotically united, through a couple of simple exercises for office miseries.

Good thing about CD is the fact that nothing needs to be installed on the disk. Guide through the exercises can be started directly from CD. If we decide to install CD, we can do it in a way that he offers us exercises every hour, two or four.

Front page of CD is very simple and probably work of author himself.To sum up, as you can see from the picture, at the right side you choose the exercise or exercises, and with the click on " Play all" or "Play chosen" below the frame with video in the right part of the window, we choose wether to watch all the exercises or only picked up ones. The most persistant athletic ghostes among us can try to reproduce them by themselves on their chairs.

Before you start to hyperventilate and start psyhical preparations for unhuman efforts, let’s say that it ‘s only about simple stretching exercises, lasting 30-40 sec pro exercise. Even an average freak can perform them without major trauma. To be honest, we noticed that one of the exercises ( the thiteen’s one) abandons the sansktr’s philosophy of exercisisng in sitting position ( how title says) but since we at least lean on the table, let’s just get over that.

What to say about this CD? Definitely, low tech piece of work, makes some sense for office rat.. ( workers, excusses to the editor ) who need ideas how to strech. Is it 99 kn. Worth, plus postal charges? Judge yourselves.
